battery only at 12. volts

3 months ago I purchased a new Drag Specialties High Performance Battery for my 1980 sportster. I charged it up and used the battery once. This month I try to start the bike again and the battery only had 12.20 volts. I have this bike for over 10 years and unless the batter is over 12.50 volts it will not start.
